Movie Review: Pressure Cooker

This is a little off-topic from what I usually write about, but I wanted to share.

Last night we watched Pressure Cooker and it was really good.  If you like documentaries about east coast inner-city high school senior who do a cooking competition for scholarships, you will like this movie. I found the story of Fatoumata especially interesting and a nice contrast to the experiences of the other students.
Pressure Cooker.
Three Philadelphia high school students negotiate the challenges of the inner city and the demands of their tough-minded culinary arts teacher, Wilma Stephenson, to become contenders in a citywide cooking competition. Charming and surprisingly hilarious, Jennifer Grausman and Mark Becker's inspiring documentary showcases the heights young minds can reach, regardless of their environment, when they're expected to succeed.
